EPRI: Balance of Plant Corrosion (BOP) & Heat Transfer Conference

EPRI: Balance of Plant Corrosion (BOP) & Heat Transfer Conference

Date: Monday 8 June 2026
Location: The Westin Westminster | 10600 Westminster Boulevard, Westminster, CO 80020 USA

The Balance of Plant Corrosion and Heat Transfer Conference week consists of five different user groups: Buried Piping Integrity Group (BPIG), CHECWORKS Users Group (CHUG), Heat Exchanger Performance User Group (HXPUG), Plant Performance Enhancement Program (P2EP), and Service Water Assistance Program (SWAP). Although these groups have historically met individually and in some combinations, the intention of combining the groups is to foster collaboration with individuals of related technical areas and plant performance responsibilities. The common meeting location affords members and technology suppliers an economically effective opportunity to interact and participate with related user groups and promotes a broader technical focus for all attendees.

When last held in 2024, over 250 participants representing a dozen countries were able to build a network of expert resources in the areas of buried piping, coatings, corrosion, heat exchangers, thermal performance, ultimate heat sink monitoring, operations, inspections, and maintenance related activities within the balance of plant.
