Ideal for decontamination and decommissioning work. Operating Pressure: 285 PsiG (19.6 BarG) at 100° F (38° C). Standard Materials: Tool bodies & saddle assemblies are stainless steel. Drills, retaining rings, U-bolts, and bolting hardware are carbon steel. PTFE packing & gasket materials. Optional Titanium Nitride coated drill bits. Quality Assurance: Compliant with several Quality Assurance Programs and U.S. nuclear industry standards including ANSI N45.2, NQA-1, 10CFR 50 Appendix B, and 10CFR 21.

The GripTight Grippers enhance operational safety, minimizing the risk of accidental plug blowout/expulsion due to improper use or unexpected upstream pressure in the line. The plug is capable of withstanding upstream pressures up to 1,500 PsiG (103 BarG). As the upstream pressure increases, GripTight Grippers actually use the pressure to grip and seal more securely against the pipe's inner diameter.
