More Details

360 Series control valves are heavy-duty globe and angle style valves perfect for general service or severe service applications. These valves are used in a variety of demanding environments, including oil and gas, chemical/ petro-chemical, power generation, water distribution and/or treatment, and general industries.

The standard actuator for 360 Series valves is a Dyna-Flo Model DFC (fail closed) or DFO (fail open) linear actuator. These heavy-duty actuators are spring and diaphragm style, and can be used for throttling or on-off service, with or without a valve positioner.

DF400 Series Rotary Plug Control Valve

Dynaflo

  • 1 to 6 inch NPS (25 to 150mm DN)
  • Flanged Body, Quarter Turn Operation
  • RF End Connection
  • ASME B16.34 Class 150 to 600 Pressure Rating
  • ANSI/FCI 70.2 and IEC 60534-4 Class IV / VI Shutoff

More Details

The Model DF400 is a heavy-duty eccentric plug control valve (sometimes referred to as a rotary globe valve) combined with a powerful spring-and-diaphragm actuator. This valve-actuator combo is used in all kinds of demanding applications, including oil and gas production, chemical process industries and severe service environments.

The self-aligning eccentric plug design and straight through flow pattern of the DF400 control valve provides tight shutoff while also allowing for higher flow capacities than other valves. The exclusive low-profile actuator provides reduced deadband and hysteresis through a combination of low-friction design with a robust splined shaft connection.

FAQS

What is a mechanical pipe plug?

Our GripTight® plugs, commonly known as mechanical pipe test plugs. Used in applications where safety is vital, mechanical pipe plugs are actuated by tightening a series of rim nuts around the periphery of the pipe plug, sealing it for protection.

Hydro Test Plugs, also known as hydrostatic testing plugs are suitable for high pressure testing up to 15,000 psi and also for pneumatic testing. Curtiss-Wright EST Group offers a complete line of isolation and hydro test plugs for pipework testing.
